Jim	Re: i need metal distortion fx box schematics Make a high gain distortion of your chosing. Then put a graphic-eq stompbox after it so that you can tweak the sound. Usually metal sounds are a frequency curve with a big wide dip in the middle. lots of low and highs with cut mids.     J2k
