| pHiLtHy | Re: In search of .....a really good WAH WAH ditto what Firefly said. I would recommend searching pawn shops or the classifieds / ebay etc. on the net. there are a variety of places for good info... GEO is a good place to start. I have a Crybaby that I bought new in about '80. It's the only wah that I've ever owned. the inductor died on me about a year ago and and i purchased some hight quality aftermarket parts (inductor and ICAR spec pot) from Mike Fuller. The pedal sounds as good as ever. I think the inductor and pot ended up running me around $50 total, not sure. But heck, if you can find a trashed wah pedal at a pawn shop for $25 or less and then get the upgrad parts, you could have a killer pedal for $75 or probably less. Seems to me that New Sensor is carring some of the Fulltone parts at reasonable prices now. good luck, pHiLtHy |
