Not to change the subject too drastically, but I've heard it said some of the brown Fender amps like the 6G4-A Super and the 6G5A Pro have vibrato, not tremelo; pitch is actually changed. Is this true?  
Has any one ever come up with mods/improvements to the vibrato circuit to stop its ticking /pulsing/ breathing problems?
