| Rick | Re: gk2a pickup to hextortion The hex pickup will put out a strong enough signal to drive an amp, at least the one built into the early Roland controllers. I have the one with the weird extra neck bar (can't remember the model number) and I wired it so the top three strings went to one output and the bottom three to another output (I took out all the synth controller circuitry). I just tied the three p/u outputs together at the jack and it worked fine. One thing to note- the sound is really trebley because the pickup is so close to the bridge. I can post more details if anyone's interested. |
