With a good tube amp like what you got, lots of these high end units($200 Fuzz Face clones you could build yourself for less than half that)often just muddy up your sound. I swear by my DOD 250 with GE diodes. Also good is to build youself a Tubescreamer copy (easily tweaked to your liking), and the BOSS Bluesdriver is pretty sweet as well..real thick tone. Check out Tonefrenzy.com, there is a big 'ol database of pedals with pics, descriptions, and wav files...good cross-section of units. happy hunting, and keep it lean
