| Farrow | Re: This is about as simple as it gets Well, my pedal sits on a pedalboard where it is constantly abused and stepped on, and other than the occasional thunk, I have had no problems. If you take the back off the pedal and thump the tube, it'll give you some commotion, but as long as it doesn't ring, you're okay. I have a list of tubes that will work in the circuit - I found a bunch that have basically the same pinout. I've tried a lot of these and I like the 6AU6 the best, followed by the 6BA6 and the 6AG6.
