nic mentioned the Big Muff. It makes one really cool sound but that's about all. Over-rated?  
 
...and what about the Fuzzface in its various incarnations? This mis-biased low Z input device has been copied as much as the TS-808. I have an original and a handful of clones and almost never play any of them.
