| R.G. | Re: 4PDT Switches Footswitches??? Fujisoku (!?) makes a 4PDT push-push switch that works like the 3PDT's that Fulltone used to use and stopped using because of reliability problems. It's a lighter duty device than the Carlings and other similar ones. They're expensive (maybe $20 or so), rare, non-stock items for distributors and possibly unavailable except by luck. That's the only one I know of. Are you sure you can't use a 3PDT and use the Millenium Bypass version 1 or 2 on one pole to get the status indicator? Getting to needing over 3 poles pushes you into relay or CMOS territory very quickly. The Danelectro pedals use the CD4053 for their "bypass", and it's a 3PDT CMOS switch. You can get clickless operation very easily that way. Relays are, of course, an option, and probably cheaper than a 4PDT stomp switch, even if it's a bit more complicated. |
