Another thing I forgot...if you, or someone you know, is handy with electronics and tube-driven circuits, there are probably some kind of kits out there you could build as a stand-alone. I know you can get the Fender schematics, 'cause I already downloaded them. The consideration here is cost-of-parts and time involved vs. price of ready-made, and convenience of taking it home and plugging it in. That also goes for stompbox types. Brad
