| JD Sleep | Re: Talkbox schems or plans? nic, You can use the output of almost any amp, including a Deluxe. You should try to match the impedance of amp output with the driver you're using. At one time I was using a 100 watt tube Peavey amp (Mace) to power a talk box. Keep the volume down, of course, or you'll blow up the driver. Someone suggested sawing the horn of a tweeter, as was suggested by Anderton in GP during the '70's. A midrange driver will sound better. You can get a midrange driver that works great for a talk box driver from MCM or Parts Express for $20-30 us dollars. JD JD |
