Then the Dual will be just what you are wanting, even with only a single battery.  
 
The Dual Booster may sound better in this application if the low end is rolled off by changing C5 and C6 to 1uF or even 0.56uF.  
 
(BTW, none of the rants by anyone were directed at you; we just got slightly off track :)
