| Roger | Other FX project sources I think we all know about 90% of the resources on the web for FX builders, but there are a few books and non-web based companies that I've yet to see mentioned on here, and I wanted to bring them up. There is a new book that I got a few monts ago called the STOMPBOX COOKBOOK which is sort of like the college course to Craig Anderton's High School EPFM book. It has some great projects in it, most a bit more advanced than the usual Anderton stuff, but includes many many fuzz boxes, tremolos, compressors, etc. Many different variations, AND gives you chapters on theory about how they all work. Also, there is a "company" called Synthetech that makes projects in text form (charges a few bucks a piece) for original FX designs (all the usuals, probably about 15 projects in all) I've yet to have success building anything that I've gotten from wither resource (the Stompbox Cookbook tends to use some ICs I've never seen before (op-amps) that can be gotten from one company that has never sent me the catalog. Anyone have any other sources? Roger |
