| R.G. | Re: tube driven stomp box schems? "Vr" is a common designation for "reference voltage", a single voltage generated only for the purpose of biasing things like opamps. I don't know about the specific tube driver you're looking at, but I suspect that whomever drew up the schematic just didn't draw in the full power supply. Kind of left as an exercise for the student. By the way, there are several tube preamp effects at GEO; the Guyatone, the Alembic preamp, and the Westbury. However, I notice that in the move from eden.com to geofex.com, they got unlinked. I'm working on getting the links updated now. |
