| Joe | Boss power supply I'm sure this has been covered before,but... What's the deal with the different power supplies for Boss pedals? They all work on 9V batteries, so why did they make them require different ac adapters? I have an older analog delay & chorus(the one with the 4 presets)According to the labels they should have different adapters. I've always used an old Arion power supply (which has been slightly modified to fit a smaller case). Should I be concerned? Should I remove or bypass a resistor inside (I figure there has to be one by the outboard power jack since the unit obviously works on 9V)? Over at VirtualGuitar they reviewed the Voodoo Power Pedal & says there are DIP switches to allow for old Boss 12V supplies. What gives? Thanks, Joe |
