Vox Valve Tone JRC4558D

Ryan Lussier	Vox Valve Tone JRC4558D All the good things I've heard about the Vox Valve tone has piqued my interest. I could swear I read somewhere that some of them had the JRC 4558D op amps in them. Any truth to this rumor? If they have the JC4558 which I suspect they would, aren't the the JRC's long out of production?, would there be a tonal improvement moving up to the heralded JRC? I've never much paid attention to the Tube Screamer dicussions 'cause I'm a fuzz freak but I've found overdrives interact well with some effects. Any info much appreciated.
