| Toddy | Re: Big Muff PI (from front page) If you'd like two examples of how a Big Muff sounds listen to these songs: Comfortably Numb---Pink Floyd At the end of the song David Gilmore uses the Big Muff in the background for the full, harsh, buzzy chords. He may have tweeked his Big Muff a bit. (He also used it on various other songs on "The Wall") Who's that Lady? ----- (I can't remember who played that Classic disco funk song). The whole lead is a Big Muff throughout (also he punches in a phasor every now and then). This is the truest classic (transistor)Big Muff sound I've heard. It's one of my favorites...the guitarist really rips some cool stuff in that lead. I,myself, am in the process of building a Big Muff!! Good luck and have fun!! Toddy |
