Yes, beside a good clean strat through a good valve amp, if I have to choose a pedal to "unclean" and "faten" it a bit, SB III is my type of pedal. It makes a ss amp sound good, and a valve one, sound much better. To me, it´s an incredible allaround effect. JohnC
