Tubescreamer & MXR dist.

Sam | Tubescreamer & MXR dist. Hey there. I've been using an MXR Distortion + pedal with a cab simulator to do guitar tracks on my 8 track. I just go in direct. I was thinking about putting a tubescreamer I have laying around to use. I've read that it's a good combo to use the MXR and the Tubescreamer at the same time in a chain. Is this true? It seems to me that using 2 dist. pedals at once would sound really awful. What are some good settings for this type of setup? And does it matter in what order the two dist. pedals are put in the chain? Thanks |
