| R.G. | Re: "Anti-pop" resistors for true-bypass. Hi, Y! The pop is from the input/output capacitors on the effect itself leaking micro-amps onto the unconnected outer sides that are soldered to the DPDT switch during the time that the switch lugs are unconnected, i.e. when the effects is bypassed. If you solder 1M resistors from the ends of the caps that tie to the DPDT switch to ground, the pop will go away if your capacitors are good. The lugs that send/receive to the effect are the right ones. |
