| Derrick | Dallas Rangemaster Does anyone know anything about the old Dallas Rangemaster treble boosters? I just ordered one from England and I think it's outragous! Love it! The secret element to Clapton's sound. This unit seems to add a bit more treble, however, it is to me driving the amp harder (acting like a overdriver/booster for the front end of , say, a Marshall). The overdriving, or "boosting the front end" is the characteristic I like. My question is if anyone can shed some light on which type of battery these origionally took, voltage, physical description, etc.? The Rangemaster just has a red, and a black wire with a battery snap on each that is bigger than the type used for standard 9v batterys. Thanks, -Derrick |
