| -Y. | Re: CS Tone Bender schematics? R.G., which schematics are you still looking for. I never ended up getting my Vox Pro MK II, I'm not even sure what the guy really had. Anyway, I now own the Colorsound reissue Sola Sound Pro MK II. Awesome tone. Very germanium Fuzz Face-like on the single notes, smooth enoughfor chords. I love it. Neil oung in a box. Anyway, it's a remake of the old two-knob. I am also probably getting an old gray Vox Tone Bender this weekend. It's the old large gray box, like my reissue, with two chickenhead knobs and the words "Vox" and "Tone Bender"...nothing else. Oh, and I just got a Univox Unidrive...very interesting, sort of a mutate powered volume pedal. It has a 5 or 6 switch rotatry selector for input volume (which sets the overall amount of gain and volume), and a "pedal range" pot which adjustes the mimimum volume when the pedal is heel-back. Very nice driving the clean channel on my old Carvin. They say Hendrix used one of these a little. Three early silicone transistors (859EX, those kind shaped like round water towers)), lots of electrolytics... -Y. |
