| nuuj | Re: Level compensation and true bypass Wow, this was right along the same lines as a project I've been planning for the last month. A true bypass switch box with effect send level and a wet dry mix, using the Midwest Analog Products Swiss Army Preamp kit. The plan is that when "On" to send the input signal to the swiss army preamp and get two signals. Send one to the effect out. Then take the effect return and the other preamp out and make a simple stacked pot mixer to mix the effect out signal with the preamped version of the original signal. When off, true Bypass. When on, whatever level of effect you want. http://techno5.lakes.com/~map/swiss-s4.gif http://techno5.lakes.com/~map/ |
