Most of the reviewers complained that they couldn't hear any difference while playing with the warp control, though most admitted they had only used one in the store. Eventually someone contacted tech 21 about them and the reply was also posted in the database. Tech 21 said that the Warp only really changes the attack and that if they struck a note or chord and then started turning the knob, the difference wouldn't be noticed, but it would if they adjusted the knob and then picked the note or chord. Whiule the explaination makes sense, it didn't seem to be the way they were marketing it ("a twist of the warp, knob to turn from overdrive to big muff to fuzz face," etc., etc.) Has anyone seen the pedal from Black Cat that apparently you switch a switch and to changes semi-conductors for a variety of fuxx clones? -Y.
