Got a nice PP 5881 stereo hifi amp and a Champ practice amp all for the price of a bit of cleaning/painting and some new "innards": caps, resistors, tubes etc. But so far, the iron has been good most of the time, which takes a big chunk out of the cost of DIY. Lotsa good aution deals too, which is just one step away from the dumpster... ... don't give up the search... ... Whit

I've had great success doin' the dive...
