Your preferences sound alot like mine- Analog and tubes! I thaught classes in digital would really suck, having little prior interest, but I took one and loved it! Learn all that stuff and use it for your own devious purpose's-ha ha ha. You can actually tweak digital chips to process analog. For instance the oc-2, one serious rad pedal, uses a cd4013 chip to divide the signal down an octave in a circuit you'll probably learn after 3 weeks of digital. So anyway, after digital I got interested in programming and even got to do an "echo" program. Then after awhile you have all this information to just be creative with- maybe build a robot or something...in short, I electronics is great fun, all of it. later-eth
