Thanks for spotting the bug. Its fixed now.  
 
If you want to change the color, you still have to do it the hard way, with HTML. The idea was to provide a quick and easy way to quote text with a minimum of keystrokes; if you had to specify the color every time, it wouldn't be quick and easy anymore. :-)
