Hey Mook,
I appreciate the kind words on the earlier posts, I thought some explination on fitlering may be order.
I do use differant power supply designs with
differant models:

MAZ-38 - has 280 mFD of filtration, kind of high for a 38 watt amp, but it is my tightest
and cleanest currant model.

Carmen Ghia - has 112 mFD of filtration, unique in its DC biased Phase Inverter, and is a very involved power supply. This is the most elastic amp I build, mostly due to the 5Y3.

Prescription- has 160 mfd it's on the low side
for amp of it's power, but is very harmonic, wonderful for slide, nice envoloped tone.

MAZ Jr- has 120 mFd of filter, very Fender Blaceface in it's filter node division.

Route 66 - has a 100 mFD of filter, also kind of soft, but relies on the GE 5V4 for it's brilance and big bottem. Also being a UL design it eliminates the need for a choke, and makes a simpliar RC only power supply, with large values of dropping resistors, which remember is also part of the power supplies filter.
