Dumb salvaged transformer question

| Dodge | Dumb salvaged transformer question I have come across 6 mains transformers, unused, all of which have only two secondary windings, 0 - 6.3V and 0 - 210V. Unfortunately, none of these have a centre tap. Most of the schems I have looked at for my first home brew amp (AX84 and similar) show the mains transformer have centre taps. Can I make use of these of shall I just bin them? They didn't cost me anything. Any advice appreciated. Dodge |
