I have not tryed the Ei or testla 12AX7's but, figured from what people have been saying, they might bee the best bet for someone who likes Mullard, Brimar, etc. for British amps. You are familliar with Mullard/Brimar, can you tell me if these are the tubes that come closest in tonal range to Mull./Brim? I am not really concerned with nois! Just tone. Thanx, -Derrick
