Tone control scaling

ethTone control scaling
I read a post recently on scaling the standard tone stack up to using all 1m pots. This seems like a much better Idea! Any experience or ideas before I readjust values?
I've been using active lately, but my projects sure would go faster with a standard layout!
Carvin says they use 1M's to create better cut/boost as well as isolate the controls from each other. Could this be scaling? Although if they say cut/boost, Technically it means active tone control. Incidently they center the treble at 10.2khz, which I thaught interesting. -- How do you determine center freq.'s of the std. fender circuit? Gosh , that's an emberassing realization! Thanks in advance! -Eth
