These zeners have no effect during normal playing. If you tried to drive your preamp with another pre-amp they might kick in. In TUT 2, only the pre-amps are schemed. I would guess that Kevin didn't copy the schematics, but traced them off the actual amp . So, I don't know anything about the courteous thing to do, but Kevin's book's are extremely generous with information. Probably it isn't a big deal to him, but I'd like to respect his work. By the way, TUT 2 kicks butt, by that I mean, my amp kicks butt with all homage to Kevin O'conner!... somebody just e-mail him and see what he says!- later dudes!Eth
