John, they may have put 4 dabs of some sort of adhesive to the top corners of the chassis. I ran into this with a Bedrock amp that was stuck like your's. If you've got a rubber hammer, you can tap the chassis a little and it may loosen it up, that's how I got the Bedrock free.
