| anthony | Re: Super Six again The super six is a silverface model. Had it been blackface, I probably wouldn't event think of doing too much too it. It's just not good business sense. However since silverface amps with the cabinets shortened aren't really collector's items,I have no intention of trying to sell this amp. I also have no intention of paying a couple hundred dollars for a brain transplant for it either. If any mods are done on it, they'll be mine that I do for free + parts. What I really want is to be able to use both channels at once with the normal channel running clean all the time, and using the verb channel for a fatter, overdriven sound, and be able to mix the two. I'm still running ideas around in my head as to how I want to go about this. I've experimented with running different effects to different amps when I've recorded stuff before, and got better tone than I've ever had with just running a single amp. If I could manage to do that with the two channels of this amp, I'd be a happy bluesman. |
