5F6-A Clone rectifier problem

Craig	5F6-A Clone rectifier problem Hello all you amp wizards, I recently built a 59' bassman circuit in a home made chassis. Im using a bedrock power tranny (319vac per side to pins 4 & 6)as well as the 5vac filament heater tranny for the rectifier (pins 2 & 8). Everything is wired as per the schematic, all power reads fine, but in standby (not even closing the circiut to the filter caps) the rectifier tube (tried a 5U4 & GZ34) goes into red plate and blue arc mode. I've checked everything I can think of and am out of ideas.......ok wizards let have it! HELP!
