tone control pots?

| arthur norris | tone control pots? Are all three pots in a 3-band tone control logarithmic? I notice that if I simulate the response of the Marshall or Fender tone circuits (3 band and 2 band), I can't seem to find a setting which gives a flat response... I assume if this is true that it is deliberate. I'm trying to improve the tone controls of my home-made amplifier-- any recommendations? thanks, art |
