I've heard to plug the amp in series  
with a few light sockets with light  
bulbs. Try about 4 light bulbs. After  
some time, turn off a light bulb and the  
voltage to the amp is raised. After  
a few hours, turn off another light  
bulb, thus, again raising the voltage.  
Repeat until all light bulbs are off.  
 
Has any body heard of this method?
